the general population would not be punished.

they obviously would. they wouldn't have access to guns, and in the US it's a right protected specifically in their constitution.

you don't see it's only better for people to have less guns? after that focus on the other problems

considering there's no evidence that gun ownership construes an objective problem, no. i've already elaborated on that.

you save us?

with the current agricultural research going on focusing, atleast to a larger extent than before, on crops that's culturally anchored in africa instead of just europe/asia, which the green revolution focused on - namely wheat and corn, even africa will flourish. there's a lot of empty space at a lot of places in the world, even if global warming is a real threat, it's being handled at a decent way and will only improve

whats the problem you are talking about more exactly?

global warming is propably going to be bad and we can only slow it. it was coming without humans at some level. We don't really know about that cycle.
diseases immune to antibiotics will wipe out a lot of us at some point. fresh water is rare for some of us and that will cause a lot of problems. in the end something from the space will deal with us
ok humans will survive for a long time might as well try to make it less bad for them

i'm not saying the American constitution is "right" or that it provides the optimal outcome insofar as violence statistics are concerned. what I'm saying is that not only there's no evidence that there would be a benefit from banning guns, but also that it would violate an enshrined right. and yes, that's a big deal in a country where individual freedom is paramount.

fresh water is rapidly becoming more avaible because there's modern stuff that cleans it - sanity is pretty new overall.

antibiotics is indeed a problem, but they are discovering more and more of them - didnm't they just discover a new one that was going to be some kind of super shit?

the population clusters are currently located around drainage basins and rivers because of the accessibility to fresh water. with wealth comes sanity, thats a known fact.

the ice ages also came and whiped people out, yet we survived.

there's very few things that can whipe the humans off planet earth, a lot of the things we have considered incureable and impossible to cure is now possible to cure. what if the black death struck now and killed 70%? would never happend

the diseases some fruit bats carries (ebola), tse-tse flies etc are becoming global because of globalization and airplanes, but we are dealing with shit pretty well considering the situation.

saying humanity will die out is moronic and shows a lack of education

e/ die out SOON
