there both nasty to make but solar once its made doesnt effect the planet like oil
oil effects the planet to get the oil then to process the oil then by burning it in the cars

solar only effects the palnet to get it once its a solar panel its pretty clean without after effects that i know of

You just showed you have no idea how solar farms work. They are literally 6000 birds who die annually to the solar farm in Nevada.

if your car is working right, it shouldn't be burning oil. and that oil once dirty should be changed and recycled and then it can be used again and again, its not lossless but can last for a long long time.

once solar panels go bad, and they do they are junked/recycled including introducing some of that nasty shit into the earth/atmosphere

once junked they effect the planet? so what if they have a new program to properly recycle with little harm?
then its only getting them thats shitty the power itself is clean where as oil is continuously damaging the planet at any stage really
like the usa wars would likely come to an end becasue they would have no need to fight for other countries oil anymore

so many benefits of eliminating oil who cares if solar panels are crap for the environment when they die oil is constantly crap to the environment


really though hydro power is the way to go even if our water is polluted as fuck in can still produce power cars can run on hydrogen and are super clean etc etc

Many reasons, solar is obviously 100% renewable. In most cases, any exhaust you see from solar plants, vehicles, etc is just steam, not carbon dioxide/monoxide. No more contant city smog, many less population related health issues. To 'harvest' solar energy, you literally need land, panels and sky. In Alberta's oil sands the extraction is incredibly inefficient. You have to burn 2 barrels of oil in the extraction process to get 3. As far as their batteries, I don't know how they compare, but it's not like our current car batteries aren't junk anyway. Easy net positive.

I would tend to lean on the side that overall impact of solar/wind has to be lower. but i'll admit that i dont know shit lol
