- Subban and Vey looked very good, Shinkaruk had some nice plays in the offensive zone, as well.
- Horvat had a strong 3rd period. Very solid, safe center.
- Veterans didn't look like they cared all too much.
- Edler took a puck or stick to the face and left the game in the 1st period, no update.

It is not being broadcast unfortunately. 2-0 Sharks as of this post.

e/ now 3-0

4-0 now lol
sad part is, how will shink make the team? he'd have to continue dominating to convince benning to make space for the kid by trade =/

I can't see him making it this year. He's fun to watch in the o-zone but his overall game isn't ready.

If he does somehow make it, he'll push Burrows down to 3RW and Hansen to 4RW. Either they move Dorsett to 4LW or they make a trade.

I see Horvat or Gaunce having a much better chance because they can play 4LW if need be; they are strong defensively and physically mature.

All that said, it's probably best for all our prospects to get more ice-time in their respective lower leagues. Horvat can work on his skating and offense in junior and Shinkaruk and Gaunce can get some pro experience in the AHL (Shinkaruk needs to develop physically as well). Not like we're contending anyway.

The AHL guys can be called up the NHL at any time. Horvat will be the only tough decision because he can get his 9-game NHL tryout then he either sticks with the big club or it's junior until next season.

5-2 loss in the Stockton game.

Bonino and Jensen the goal scorers for the Canucks. Apparently Bonino showed nice hands on his goal and Jensen made a nice shot on his.

Bonino, Jensen, Vey, Horvat, Shinkaruk, Subban all scored. Nice start :P Only thing missing was a goal from Vrbata off a 1-minute cycle shift by him and the Sedins :D
