I think covid is a bit overblown and they are sensationalizing things by making such a big deal out of cases, like why does 1000 cases a day matter when only like 10 may even have bad symptoms, and then 1 of those might be hospitalized?

So there is definitely no logic behind their restrictions other than making sure big corporations bottom lines aren’t harmed.

Also, icu numbers are a bit of a farce as well, yeah no shit they’re overloaded what do they except when we aren’t investing in new medical infrastructure or helping employ more medical staff.

Hospitals were already near or over capacity pre covid, it’s not a shock they’re bursting now, but it’s not strictly due to covid, it’s more down to government not using our tax dollars effectively.
