Thanks for year old news

Not sure if anyone posted sharp is for trade and it sounds like Hawks want to make a big trade at or coming up to the draft.

Bob and a few others are reporting that Chicago and Anaheim have made serious offers for Kesler. The talk seems to be heating up.

There is also the rumor of Sharp being dangled, but perhaps in a 3-way trade situation (hopefully, anyway, we don't need Sharp at all). Florida could be the other team involved because it's not a secret that the Canucks are going hard after the #1 overall pick and of course Sharp's connection with FLA GM Tallon.

If we get Sharp this would be a perfect fit for the team. HOLY shit i want it to happen but its not gonna happen.

Why would Hawks switch Sharp for Kesler tho?

Cus they are weak down center compared to the kings

That would be terrible mismanagement if they just pencil him in there. Would be a year wasted for their core if he's not ready.

thats why im saying supposed to, he's pretty old now and should be ready, im not sure if kesler is worth it giving up a major part of their core

They don't have to give up any of their core, Canucks would be happy with pick + prospect.

Problem is that they have very little cap space and will have even less moving forwards with the raises they have coming up. Would be smarter to sign someone like Grabovski on a short-term deal.
