Oil is approaching its last gasp, rip. I don't know how many years it will be until its taken a real backseat to more renewable sources of energy, but soonish, definitely before "100 years". Also obviously that pipeline is not going to last even half of that.

just a heads up, you do know that oil is more than just a fuel source right?

I agree that the movement will happen and should happen, but i think it's would be foolish to think the need for oil will end anytime soon.


I dont know the math on capital cost and ROI on the investment and all that shit but i want canada to continue extracting and selling its oil.

I do think we have an obligation to limit damage to the communities affected and continue looking for way to extract more efficiently. but i still think we should be selling the resource.

Ohh my. Staypositive. You been drinking too much nutley koolaid. We're easily 100 years away from eliminating oil. The pundits and experts have said that. To steer away from oil this soon will only cripple us completely.
