Anyone have good knowledge in the insurance game?

My homeowner insurance premiums went up over $200. Just atrocious.

25 year old, 4 story apartment ~ 1250 Sf.

They want close to $800 for a middle of the road policy in terms of coverage.

Seems pretty close to criminal. Wondering what my options are? Would I see a big difference if I went to another insurance broker or do they all have similar resources in terms of finding you the 'most competitive' rate.

Where in BC are you located? Think I use BCAA for my house insurance and it’s actually quite reasonable
