I believe the specs are out but we don't know yet if they are accurate or just a placeholder. IIRC people were saying the listed specs seem high.

My question is can we play only the old version without even installing the new. I hope they let people do this so that you don't need a modern gaming PC to play it... I want to be able to play on my work computer

they said you can toggle back and forth between the old and new but im not sure it would lessen the requirements
and the requirements could be pretty high because they are emulating d2 with a 3d graphics layer on top of it to modernize it so you are running d2+ d2rnew shit.... not quite the optimal way to make a game i imagine but its probably the best to remaster it

something else that worries me is you are literally running the old d2 underneath and can swap anytime to the old graphics ....does that mean a slightly modified bot that works for current d2 is going to work?

Perhaps not the most optimal way but pretty smart considering everyone thought it'd be difficult to remaster because of how the original D2 was built, especially with how it gives players the options to play with the original graphics.

You can definitely toggle back and forth, but I hope they make it an option where you don't even have to install the new version so that you don't need the GG specs to run it.

I always found it really depressing to find an extremely rare item such as Grandfather Colossus blade but it was worthless despite being so iconic from back in the day.

Will be nice to have different items be valuable once again. I want it to go back to only the best of the best having the gg runewords.

I am hoping I can just throw in some upgrades to my current Pc to make it good enough vs having to piece out an entire rig for a couple of months buying everything on sale.
