Don't think it's a good thing that Holmgren is the head of the hockey ops lol

I get the feeling that he's going to make a mess of things.

Hextall did a lot of good work, just is taking a bit longer than the impatient Flyers org wanted.

hextall was a great gm man he didnt make a lot of big moves but those small trades at the draft to move up/back the prospects they drafted ect ect the guy can build a team from the ground up
what ever team picks him up is lucky as fuck guys got high hockey iq and knows his stuff he was assistant gm in LAK when they were cup contending came to flyers and put in work with the mess holmgren left him

this was done because of low hockey iq holmgren+comcast ceo pushing for big trade that hextall wasnt willing to do and they said they are focused on the deadline as there are opportunities
i just hope they trade picks because they just fired a lot of the guys that knew how to draft and we likely wont be drafting as good to replace prospects that might get traded


and yeah holmgren has no fuckin idea >< ed snider promoted him because of loyalty but was making a lot of the decisions like hiring hextall but he passed and that loyalty promotion is looking real bad now
