nothing looked like it was aimed at them. the 5min conference just seemed like a diversion to make it look like they might change the call, which they cant.

then not having the balls to explain it to the coach is a bad look imo

i totally get the wanting an explanation. and yeah, they couldnt change it i was sitting here yelling at the tv, "thats not a reviewable call" even tho it was a bad call.

so since its not reviewable and they know it, why sit there for 5min and make it look like youre thinking about changing the call? youre just leading people on at that point

nothing can change it now and the sharks very possibly couldve won that game legitimately later on, i just hate how the nhl learned nothing from the nfl and theyre going to reactively make changes

for sure, it could have gone either way, both teams came out good in OT, unlike the early second - end of the third when the blues dominated. was shaping up to be a great ot, and i expect the rest of the series to be great games. i fully expect it to go 7 who knows what they are going to do with refs

theyll make changes for reviewing goals, no doubt
