The guy as a rock between both ears, no hockey sense whatsoever.

Like you said, he's big, fast, has a good shot but he rarely make things happens when he's on the ice. And he really does not play physical at all for his size. If he wanted to he could be much more physical, the only time he throws big hits is when another player is trying to hit him Like this one for exemple :

Doesn't look like it will happen. Someone in Nashville heard it on the Radio ( apparently a good source ) but no one have talked about it since.

Blum is also going to be UFA on July 5.. Well technically he could be a RFA but it looks like the Preds won't qualify him.

According to a reputable source:

Elias deal with Devils 99.99% done and it's multi year
Lamoriello meets with Hedberg...
Clarkson will be an UFA come July 5th
No talks have commenced between Zidlicky and Lamoriello
Peter Harrold is close to resigning with the Devils

Lamoriello said the team made qualifying offers to all of its potential restricted free agents, including Adam Henrique and Jacob Josefson (reported both last week), other than right wing Matt D’Agostini (previously stated) and minor league left wing Jean-Sebastien Berube.

The full list of the Devils’ unsigned potential RFAs (Mattias Tedenby and Andrei Loktionov have already been re-signed): Henrique, Josefson, D’Agostini (not qualified) Keith Kinkaid, Mike Hoeffel, Mike Sislo, Harri Pesonen, Dan Kelly, Berube (not qualified).
