Just now getting around to putting my 2 cents in. I think the Sharks played great throughout the entire series, with just a few rough periods. Game 7 was a really tough one to watch. Two missed (possible) opportunities where the ref blew the whistle before Quick actually had the puck covered, let alone stable really pissed me off. But I'm not going to blame the loss on that. The power play bullshit doesn't piss me off much either because it's part of their job to kill them off. You have to be good at the PK's regardless of how fair the calls are. Now, for Couture--although he was playing well, I think he let the Kings get into his head pretty deep in or after Game 5. I don't think Logan is on top of his mental game, but he's young so I'm sure that will continue to improve. With that being said, one of his shots or Pavs shot to Quick's gloves should have been the game changer and we just couldn't make it happen. It was heartbreaking to see that and then watch the clock run out in the 3rd period. :( The guys look top notch overall on the ice. Having Raffi back will be great. I think it's going to be an awesome season. I hope they can keep playing like this. They need to do this all year long--not just during the playoffs. We just need to practice finding the back of the net and playing more dynamically against goalies like Quick (lol is there anyone else out there like him? Maybe not.)

I didn't think Burish added much to the games he played. Maybe I missed something. Opinions?

Sharks need to score more. they struggled scoring during season, and struggled in playoffs a bit. It looked like sharks were the better team in all games vs LA except game 5....but they couldn't score. Niemi was solid.

Every year they always fall short, need a little change of some sort

some of you may not like this but!

to bad

I think its time to trade thornton, we cant just let him "play" out his contract

hes making 7 million a season, and not putting up the production to match the $, and our prospect pool needs some help bad.
