The lupul deal makes no sense at all. Especially with the new CBA. Kesler makes 5, ffs.

see you cant really compare deals that were signed a few years ago to deals now. inflation has caused guys like leino to get 4.5 a year

Yeah but when Kesler signed the cap was 60m. Now it's 70m. Kesler's hit accounted for 8% of the total cap.
Lupul @ 5.25 accounts for like 7.75... and given the types of players they are, it seems like a bad deal to me.

But hey if he can repeat his performance it'll be worth it... I just dont have a lot of faith in him.
