well when we finished the season we were winnig with prospects and bubble d men lol  schenn was the only 100% roster guy playing iirc  and  the young guys looked pretty good nothing  special but  decent
when healthy we got  timonen schenn coburn mezaros grossman streit  and then the bubble guys/prospects can be injury replacements

i wouldnt mind if we  traded grossman  hes getting like 3.4 or sumthin and hes slow as balls  we could prob replace him with one of  our young guys and save the cap space

a lot of flyers fans wouldnt mind trading cotourier for a young PMD thats proven, could help your team out

would be ideal to draft ristolainen, nurse or zadorov if avaible imo

what the fuck fans are saying that? couts has had times where hes looked like a top 6 its like WHY DONT YOU PLAY LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME
but eventually he prob will and hes already great defensively hes got potential to be a good top 6 shutdown guy imo

the guy i dont really see panning out and wouldnt mind trading is b schenn but we got luke schenn now too you cant trade away his bro and lukes becoming a fan fav with his hits lol
e: simmonds maybe even in the top 6 if we got a good enough center get like a harts-somebody-simmonds big bodied banger line goin lol

ppl think the logjam at center for flyers means that couts going to drop down to 3rd line and its better to get a top pairing PMD or atleast someone goode nough to play top pairing but maybe should be a #3

see thats the problem
we got a logjam of prospect centers and nobody has stepped up to fill that 2nd line center role we need desperately
b schenn is def ahead of couts in the chain he gets way more ice times then he should and hes always thrown into the top 6 but he never really does anything

i really think this might be a breakout year for couts he had a pretty up and down season but it happens to lots of players in their 2nd year and he showed signs of a great looking player
e: and who the fuck knows what reads going to do he had a good frst hlaf got hurt came back early but never seemed to get better.. idk if it was injury or he was just hot

ya from what i understood he's a future 60p+ guy with an insane defense which is rare for his age

was a great pick up at his draft position

Laughton is two-way center whose primary skills are on the defensive side of the ledger. He is a hard-worker with a consistent approach to the game and plenty of smarts. Laughton is not a highly skilled player and it remains to be seen how he'll develop in this area, but he should be an effective third-line player with some potential for second-line duty.

seems like g-couts-laughton would be a very high-end first line center and two high-end defensively, one of them putting up #s

not a bad situation to be in
