Tanev babysat Hamhuis all year on the top-pairing lol. He's our best player/asset moving forward and it's not even close. Our team shit was but it was complete shit when Tanev was injured.





As for the rumored trade, I'd probably switch teams if we gave Tanev + 6th for the 1st. No other roster player that doesn't have an NTC has any value lol.

idk, i probably wouldnt do it, i dont know enough about shinkaruik though, if he have top6 upside, it doesnt make sense, since we give up a potential franchise d-man in ekblad for two wingers

They're gonna draft Reinhart.

I think he's one of those players that will only make it if he can stay in the top-6 forward group, not built to work his way up from the bottom-6.

He had a great camp this season, one of our better players overall. They could have kept him up but probably didn't want to waste a year and then he got injured.

If I was Florida I probably wouldn't want him, really risky asset.

yeah, we got big two way centers to fill top6 (bjugstad/barkov) so we can afford a floating winger or two in the top6, but wasnt sure about shinkaruk
