Lol at assuming because people travel that they have any idea of world culture.

Most people who travel just go to a hotel or BNB and go to the same sites which a bunch of other tourists

they might not be openly allowed to do it but they will force you into it
a nice 2 week quarantine everytime you cross a provincial border is 100% possible and would really fuck up any type of travel

imagine leaving your prov, arriving in one , 2 weeks quarantine, 5 day vaca, go home, another 2 weeks

so you gonna take off 5 weeks for a 5 days vacation

Ya the quarantine part may be possibility. But doubtful. Horgan has already tried shit like that and got slapped down.

You are aware it's the other way around right? The few forces the masses. As it's been lately i suppose.
As I've stated I have no qualms with getting a pfizer/moderna vaccine.
Being a sore thumb has nothing to do about it.

Seeing sites literally has nothing to do with understanding the culture.

Remember when Stay Positive was calling us morons for not wanting to take this one and he would gladly take whatever

I’m thinking you got your ‘science degree’ from staples at this point, the way you understand the process

I ain’t trying to convince you, but I will take your spot in line. The idea of the high school educated deciding they are the medical experts here is either funny, or tragic, or both. Oh well.

“Health Canada said today Canadians should not be concerned about the safety of the AstraZeneca vaccine — even as a U.S. regulatory body raises concerns about the company's clinical trial results.

Berthiaume said Health Canada's decision to authorize the product was not based on any of the clinical trial information U.S. authorities are now probing. He said Canada based its approval largely on data that emerged from AstraZeneca trials in the United Kingdom and Brazil, and on studies published in countries where the shot has been in use for some time.“

So case closed.

“"It really is unfortunate this happened," Fauci said Tuesday morning on Good Morning America. "This is what you call an unforced error. The fact is, this is very likely a very good vaccine." Fauci, the director of NIAID, said he hoped the setback would not contribute to vaccine hesitancy.

From CBC.Big ol’ pile of nothing, but antivaxers gonna antivax. Canada already approved it.

Should I go on?

Go get your AstraZeneca shot

“ The decision to halt the use of the vaccine in Canadians under 55 comes after the European Medicines Agency (EMA) investigated 25 cases of the rare blood clots out of about 20 million AstraZeneca shots given.”

25/20million

They are looking for common identifiers between people with clots so that they can approve use outside of those specific groups.

Problem likely is that there is such a small amount of data with only 25 people getting these clots that it’s nearly impossible to say who exactly is susceptible

The vaccine isn’t inherently dangerous and from what I read in the articles 2/25 were men

So yea I’d say 1/10,000,000 chance at developing a blood clot is well within acceptable figures but I’m not a decision maker. I think SP’s chances are pretty damn good.

I’m quite certain many other approved drugs have far greater numbers of severe outcomes and still get approved. However paper pushers need strict numbers before handing out their guidance.
