Ugh idk.. its too soon to be looking at guys like PK.
They are aging out, and by the time we're ready they will be on the down turn.

We should wait until next year, possible players to hit free agency could be
Pietrangelo, Barrie, Hall, Krug, Hoffman, RNH, Galchenyuk, etc.

Subban is about the same age as most of these guys, but it gives us another year to possibly make a big splash, possibly get lucky in the lotto and possibly hit on draft picks from this year.

and 2021 could possibly see the likes of Landeskog, Saad, Hamilton, Schwartz, Gallagher, Brodin...

This year isnt the year to sign a big name, i think if it comes at all, it will come sometime in the next two offseasons.

I mean, I am not a fan of him, as a player. I think he would be fine where he is, the ship jumper...

Yeah was only a joke i hope we don't pick him up during a rebuild unless we're competing for a spot in the playoff's near deadline xD

On a side note, if Datsyuk does come back, maybe he can work with Svechnikov...
after missing the season with injury he will be 23 soon after next season starts, iirc Datsyuk's first year in the NHL was at age 23,
theres also the russian connection... Maybe he can help get Svech back on track as one of our top prospect.

Does Svech speak Russian? seems like he was raised on English but i could be wrong, Kinda forgot about him hope he hasn't been set back too much.

He probably lost some muscle and endurance has to work even harder

In any case, i am glad that name is with the franchise, again. But that would be cool. Hard to beat datsyuks hands, though. Guy could thread a needle with a puck...
