i have to justify it, or sell other hobby stuff to pivot the $ (i dont have to but lets be reasonable)

oh I prefer tube. but ya know, condo living and tubes are no fun if you aren't driving them hard. if I want to record shit I just use Neural DSP sims and they come close to the real thing.
