I'm not that great at it haha, but it's been fun. Like you said alot of the cat shit online is dumb expensive. Ive got plenty of random ass wood laying around so I figured I'd give some shit a try.. I built him a bridge over our bed, He loves it

I found Chewy has been pretty good if I want to buy anything online. Found a 5 foot tree for $60. I started with that and was decided fuck buying more shit, Imma just build it. So there's 3 boards mounted on the wall with carpet around em that go above our closet that are off the cat tree, he also now has access to the bridge via the mario box. He really enjoys outside so I'm thinking about trying to build a window catio for him 😅, something along the lines of this.

that is what I plan on doing too

I'll just grab a piece of drift wood or some random piece of wood next time I go fishing up north

and make one out of it

My grandpa is 88 got an appointment for the 24th of March in BC. Not sure how long it will take to get to my age range 29.

Nice to see the older people getting vaccinated.

My Grandma is in the same boat.

I doubt we get a chance until the fall.

Perhaps if you work in a job that deals with the general public frequently it will be a bit sooner than that.

Don't think it'll be that long. Alberta is claiming everyone can be vaccinated by end of June. I can't imagine bc being that far behind

I am a residential property assessor for the government and I have to enter households extremely often, no indication about when I’ll be getting the vaccine

Not that I am complaining, the people at risk and healthcare providers should obviously be priority. However, everyday that goes by that our office doesn’t get news about when we might get it makes it harder and harder for me to believe that everyone who wants a vaccination will be vaccinated by the end of June/July

BC should start transitioning to normal in September as the low-risk population will get their vaccines starting July.

25-29 range should get their first dose in August and second dose in September.

do you actually enter homes?

the guys in my area just drive by a randomly selected part every year (so each area gets looked at once every few years) and just guesstimate by looking at the exterior (they say the land is what's important)

mind u i live in vancouver so it could be completely different lol

Yea I do, I don’t work in a large city like Vancouver though. I am responsible for around 15,000 properties, and probably enter 75-100 houses per year.

so my Donny act may have prompted the strata to "investigate" the noise problem I've been complaining about for half a year

and by "investigating" I mean just talking to the guy upstairs then telling me it's not him. to which I ask whether they have a better explanation because clearly someone in the building doesn't give a shit about noise bylaws. and in the quickest reply I've ever gotten from them, I get a generic response about "respect".

maybe I should've added that I never had this problem when I lived in a cheap woodframe facing industrial businesses, but this LuXuRy ConDo in a primo location just tries to wish problems away? lol

aaah the joys of shitty stratas. at least as a tenant I can just GTFO, but when I get back in the market to buy I'll be extra careful.
