If you get an Asus, stay away from their lower end models. The quality on them has gone way downhill.

That's a shame. I used to swear by asus back in college. Acer was always the one to stay away from.

my gf bought a asus S56C ultrabook

after couple of months the SSD crapped out

had to send it under warranty

lucky she didint have anything really important...

I'm really liking the ultrabooks. Poor GFX card, but I wont be playing games on them since my desktop can still handle it.

THe zenbook is 800 bucks with student discount, but the only knock on them is that they dont have a backlit keyboard.. but 256 GB ssd storage

xps13 for 100 bucks more has backlit keyboard and better processor but 128 gb ssd storage...

then there is the air , but a bit overpriced for the specs, but would pair nice with my iphone. also known fior quality and reliablity

I'm still a big Asus fan, but yeah, their lower end products are garbage now. If it's under the $600 mark, stay the hell away.

a good tip is to find most pics of your dog u can find, refresh all the good times u had with him

went through this not that long ago with my cat who was also 12 years ..sucks man sorry for your loss


also a good tip is to actually take pics before this happens for you other animal owners i only got 1 crappy pic of my cat that my sister took
