Agreed

To bad fossil fuel promises don’t get the younger generation votes. Especially with social media increasing the political “awareness” of a younger generation.

Just wait until if this line 5 closes. And this younger generation sees the skyrocketing rates in gas at pumps. The older one gets the more likely they swap to conservative lolol
Take the states for example. Gas has skyrocketed and nO oNe KnOwS wHy.

Some speculation this is just Michigan governor playing hardball with Enbridge

Gas has skyrocketed because the gas companies are in cahoots and price fix.

That's just the thing though. A green reality is quite far in the future, 50+ years.

In the meantime all we have is fossil fuels.

is it though?
i saw an article the other day saying ndp is planning to have their campaign that all new cars sold by 2035 are electric
and it said the liberals had something similar planned but no plan of action for it

it probably wont even be 50 years let alone 50+ imo before fossil fuels are almost fully ditched

even if we dont go fully electric i imagine we see a lot more hybrid cars in the future

Here's what people don't understand. Where do you think every vehicle plugs into overnight? Some.magical power grid? In the summer a few hot days and we have record breaking energy consumption. Now tack on a million+ cars charging EVERY night.
It's almost comedic. Our electrical grid is not designed for that.

Political talking points like those are are fluff and no substance.

And drago. You know fossil fuels are used in almost any product you use on a day to day basis right? It's not just gasoline or oil.

Also, there are hybrid cars out. Have been for years. Here in NA we choose not to use them.

oh i know electric cars arent exactly more "green" they have less emissions though but so do hydrogen cars that shoot out water and dont need to be charged every night
and you know how things that are used to make stuff can be often times be replaced by something else right? that is possible
in ontario i see hybrids and electrics quite often and its only going up the amount of times i see them ...maybe not so much in alberta where everybody is pro oil and drives 4x4 diesel trucks

Groceries going to start to get more expensive with these gas prices, among a list of other things.

Fun time summer slipping away before it even begins.
