Line 5 supplies 45 per cent of Ontario’s energy needs, including 100 per cent of the aviation fuel for Pearson International Airport. It connects with Line 9, which then supplies Quebec with 40 to 50 per cent of its energy. It also produces 55 per cent of the propane for the state of Michigan.

Needless to say. Gl if you think this won't affect you.

New irons came in today! Can’t wait to use em later today, still waiting for the new wedges.

Contemplating whether I should splurge and get a new driver and 3 wood as both my current ones are from early 2000, I get the distance but my fairways is abysmal.

Cobra forged tec, I’m in between where I’m too good for game improvements but not good enough for forged irons yet, these were a good middle ground

It will impact everyone of course.....

Trudeau throwing in more carbon taxes too. in lower mainland we are supplementing those using public transit with fuel taxes.

Absolute horseshit we are being gouged for the essentials.

With cost of living so high many are forced to live further away from their workplace just to get by.

Then with high taxation and stunts like these we end up paying a fortune for fuel just to get to work.... It is an absolute joke.

What are you supposed to do? You get chased out of the area you work in because it is too expensive only to be raped by fuel costs due to having a longer commute you never wanted in the first place.

Furthermore because of outdated infrastructure you waste gas idling in traffic too. So much for the environment.

Yes. But a line 5 closure mostly will effect Ontario and Quebec. They seem to think they're mostly run on renewable energy. So this will be a good wake up call to the east that we need more pipelines.

I honestly hope Michigan doesn't shut down line 5 because it'll actually impact so many actual normal folks

Hopefully the governor isn't that dumb but hey there's no limits to human stupidity

Someone already mentioned the impact on Quebec, Ontario and Michigan. 45 % Ontario's energy, 40 to 50% quebec and 55% Michigan's propane and unless they have replacement supplies planned, a lot of people are gonna be fucked out there
