etrade, only because i signed up through my buddys company and got $5 trades

if i were starting over id just whoever the cheapest brand name is etrade, scotttrade, schwab, fidelity, etc.... should be able to get trades at like $7 or less

I heard there's a group out there trying to make transactions for stocks free or something like that.
I feel like that is better than paying $7 but I'm sure there is a catch.
