- Sabres don't have a starter right now but might not care about acquiring one for this year
- Sharks might be giving up on Niemi
- Canes might be giving up on Ward
- At the deadline, Oilers said they were happy with their tandem going forward but might have changed their mind with so many choices on the market
- Blues have already announced they're going with Allen and Elliot, ditto with Caps/Holtby and Isles signed Halak
