yeah poe has for sure come a long way but even then the seasons are becoming pretty meh but at least they are trying to keep it fresh and have good base mechanics


its greed but also the system itself its basically set to fail
people that create games naturally get promoted over time and replaced and lets be real if that dude was the master mind behind a game and gets replaced by some average joe who gets 90s in his class .... there is no guarantee he can make the same quality game
he can likely do the guys job but will it produce the same quality? or style or same oomph people liked about a game? or even know why the game was good from a players standpoint?

thats where i feel blizzard is at they lost/promoted all the good talented creative developers and on top of that you got activison behind then rushing games out buggy and half assed because it was rushed
activision imo is the devil anything with activision in it as a game has pretty much gone to shit they see a series thats doing good buy it and ruin in grabbing as much money as they can on the way down



BUT with all that being said i think diablo 4 is going to be decent at the very least because its blizzards new mmorpg i think this has to be THE GAME and they learned a lot of what not to do with diablo 3
the remakes have failed they dont really have new games retail wow numbers are dwindling and there is only so many good expansion you can rerelease to life support the sub count d4 has to be successful or they are relying on overwatch and their esports league

they know what they need to do but can they do it? lol my main issue is stats/item stats and damage bonuses they go way overboard in d3 and even wow they need to ring back smaller numbers like d2 had that are manageable like 5% not 500%
thats the whole fuckin reason d2 pvp was good and d3 pvp is shit because the damage to hp scale is just dumb they cant balance for shit even in wow its an issue and the fixes are the most half assed attempts ever
they need to take time to properly do shit but the problem is activision doesnt give them the time instead of looking into it like " oh this skill sucks and needs a buff" they will be like this class all damage increased 5% and done...then its op so they nerf by 2% ect ect
over time the damage might even out but then you have skills not being used because it was so weak and never got the buff it needed while other skills that were stronger got stronger and over powered

i wish blizzard could take time and come up with new projects not just feed off games made by people that have been gone for 10+ years its not the same game
the team that made diablo 3 if making their own project might have been 1000x better but they were restrained to trying to create the next good diablo game which is tough to do


im HOPING soooo hard that that diablo 4 is where activision and blizzard are like we cant fuck this up and take the time to make a really good game and let the team do a bit of their own thing
its ballsy to go the mmo route in a game never known for it they also fired some of the original diablo developers for wanting the exact same thing years ago so to go that route now they cant fuck it up lol


in all honestly they should do animated movies :D the world of warcraft cinematics are fucking next level people on youtube have made like movies out of them if blizzard did that ...mother of god :D
they made the wow movie but its got real actors and stuff it was alright but thats not what people want want
