Anyone know how to get the internal IP address of your laptop when the screens broken? I can't hook up my monitor.

if its connected maybe u can go to ur modems page and get the ip from there on a pc or other laptop?

That's for the external IP. Need the internal which looks like it's not as straight forward to find. But I found a work around anyway. Held the screen in a certain way so I could take the files off.

Now need to walk into a Future Shop or Staples and tell them I need a computer tomorrow and I will not wait. Need a laptop.

I've never had a crazier fucking day then today. Bought a new SUV (diesel Touraeg this morning). Have a meeting in Toronto so go home to get my truck (don't want to take a car I just sold to Toronto). Get home, start to leave, tire pressure is low on the passengers side. Go out to check, there's a nail in the front tire and I don't even know what's wrong with the back but it's leaking hard too. So can't drive it. Tow it the dealership. Have them shuttle me to my girls work in Guelph (20 minutes or so away) to pick up her car. Cousin calls, says she just got in (but is leaving for class right away) says the babysitter called and has an emergency and has to drop off the kid. So have to figure who who's going to pick her up in the next five or so minutes.

Get out of the car and rushing to the office to grab my girls keys, drop my phone, it shatters and is essentially broke. Can't bother, have to use work phone. Drive to Toronto, almost late because it's storming and people are driving really slow. Get home, want to relax, realize I forgot to set my fantasy lines. Get on laptop, laptop is broke.

Just another one of those days...
