Im unionized as well, one thing you gotta make sure to do is stand up for yourself and let management know you're not to be fucked with. You don't owe them anything, so don't be nice and do multiple work that others don't wanna do etc. Just focus on yourself first, which seems like that's what they want from you anyway.
The more you're difficult to push around, the less they'll pick on you. Idk how your union is, but if you were threatened with a displnary action, you can grieve that shit. Especially when it's something that hasn't happened (in your case threatening if your performance don't improve). If this happened to me at my work, I grieve that shit ezpz and thank the dumbass management, and set up a meeting with the gm or higher ranked employee with your union rep. The managers will suddenly lose their balls around you and never bother you again. It's all sadly politics and games, I fucking hate it but I hate being treated like you worse.
