Hate to break it to you, but players like him are a big part of the game. Most 4th lines don't consists of very high scoring threats...

When it is literally your job to hit people and create space, regardless of how clean you are, you're gonna make a few questionable hits.

Ya Laraque was the most GM guy I have ever seen in the NHL. That's why he lost his job too and got bought out.
