Was in a restaurant at yaletown celebrating my wife's birthday. They limit the number of people, with plexiglass and an empty table in between.

Then 2 cops came in, 1 stood at the door and the other walked around glaring at everyone doing a count of patrons in the restaurant. It felt a little weird and couldn't wrap my mind around it. Today I realized it felt like one of those WW2 movies where the SS came in looking for Jewish fugitives.

It wouldn't be so bad if the cop was friendly and was hey there, just doing a count, have a good night, but it was nothing like that
