and dvorak was a 40 points 2 way center with arizona back then that was supposed to have much upside and yet we look at what it is currently and its a big yikes

Habs officially have more goalies than centers

suzuki, evans, dvorak (injured), dach (injured), newhook (injured)

while the 3 goalies are healthy this year quite hilarious but tank is going to the moon now

jets are a weird team this year, they lost key pieces and most of the pieces they got for PLD are performing much better than anyone expected
its the kind of team that its either boom or bust in the playoffs this year

this year we got 2 1st round pick and colorado second with 2 3rd pick
next year we got 2 1st round pick (possibly calgary 1st round next year) with 2 2nd round pick

and tbh i have no clue what to expect out of that team, some decent prospects some meh prospects and a lot of talented defensive prospects

Not really, individually pld is seen as a better player than the players Jets got for him. I guess in a way, it's comparable to like trading horvat for garland, Joshua and blueger. Horvat is better player than 3 of those guys, but those 3 are legit depth players that makes the team better as a whole. It just looks a lot worse cuz pld decided to play like a bottom 6 rather than a top 6 player lol. Also the reason why hellebuyck signed an extension with the Jets instead of testing the UFA cuz he felt those guys they got were enough for him to think they'll be competitive.

Kent Hughes did a great job making rebuild trades, getting 2 1sts for Monahan is top tier asset management lol. Just pray he can draft well. I feel like cooley was the one to pick over slaf, but time will tell which picks ends up being impact nhl players or busts
