My building is obscenely dog friendly. It has its own fenced in dog park, although with parva that kinda makes me nervous. We have indoor walking routes though and a 2 mile trail around the three buildings. And I shit you not we have complimentary dog treats. I'm about as equipped as most homeowners minus being able to just open the door haha. They also contract for better rates with a local walking business for days I'm gonna be late getting home. All part of the 500 dollar amenities fee.

My biggest thing will be getting a dog I can trust at home for 10 hours. Thats the worry with labs and collies but I friggin love them. I'm home 7/14 days but the other 7... dunno. Crate is always an option.

Getting excited though. I moved the money around yesterday and am sending emails to shelters to set up appointments this morning. There's a Petco across the street and I have commitments from at least 5 people who can watch him when I'm on work trips and the vet is maybe 3 minutes by car at best. My friends mom runs a kennel in Michigan so if he's a problem with my parents cats she's offered to let me keep him there overnight. Literally have everything set up except finding the right dog.

It only sometimes works, and I don't know how to say it cuz technically when you close your eyes it's what you're doing, but I stare at my eyelids. You can still see some shapes and stuff when your eyes are closed so I focus on those and they start to look like real life things. That'll sometimes put me into a dream.

I dont see shit when i close my eyes

No dog should be left alone or crated for 10 hours.

If you really need to be out for 10 hours and you really want a dog you need to hire a dog walker.
:( sorry bud but its just unfair to them :(

...main reason why I don't have a dog yet

I'm still stock at the job for 10-11 hours per day

Read my posts lol. The apartment complex has a walker and I only work 7 days a pay period. Plenty of dogs can go out for long runs and pass out for 10 hours, my friends dog does. But I'm not gonna traumatize the thing, I've got it covered. Again it's about finding the right dog.

This guys gonna be spoiled rotten, no worries.

 I also wanna set up a walk share at my apartment. Since I work from home every monday I could walk some people's dogs along with mine in exchange for them taking my dog out on the days I'm not there. This apartment complex is seriously a haven for dogs, there are hundreds of owners.

For me I always grew up with dogs, had 2 boxer's at one point. Actually talked about it with my gf last night and convinced her into getting a boxer this summer when we move in our new house.

Get a Red Doberman. Get it's tail docked, but leave it's ears natural. Complete chick magnet
