And once again they have no skaters signed after 2016. Not. One. Skater. They won't be a cap ceiling team so why not take on his leadership, and talent? I doubt he will be an expensive trade. Not only all of that, but he WANTS to play there. Take him

we have one of the deepest prospect pools. like i said, i'd take vinny if it wasnt for 4 years. if we can have him cheap? why not, but you were talking brian campbell, which won't happend

bringing in experience at what is probably a low cost in current assets isn't fucking it up

also...that has nothing to do with anything...how many cups has dale tallon won with florida? 0
pretty sure bergevins also got a cup ring in the last 5 years...

its still a very expensive contract. i saw him 10-20 games? this season and he looked really bad. maybe its the coaching system, but i won't give up any assets for him, as of now, he would have been bought out

GMDT built chicagos team, he got experience, he know what it takes to win. why that experience is irrelevant, i have no idea

im not saying its not relevant...im saying comparing him to bergevin is not relevant

bergevin was alongside him that entire time, as a scout, as a coach, and as director of player personnel

and bergevin has taken a bottom habs team and rebuilt what gainey completely destroyed
this year his team was 7 wins away from a stanley cup
dale tallons team wasn't even 7 wins away from a playoff spot

He hasn't had the money to build a team properly like a GM who can spend to the cap does.

yet the biggest improvements to the habs have come from prospects coming into the league, not the guys making a lot of money

shit drop gionta, bourque, markov...also fucking murray, useless

theres your 14 million, habs would be in the same position

and still gionta and bourque are products of gainey

dale tallons team have won the stanley cup :) it was in chicago

the reason why im comparing him to bergevin is because he know how to win a cup since have done it

bergevin haven't won it as a GM

bergevin was named as GM the year they drafted galchenyuk, right?

so he have lead the team for two years, and its all him?

loulz
