No. But when you said "I have no problems with this team" I thought you meant that you think it looks good/playoff team the way it is. I guess not

If Jensen and Kassian are going to be the 2nd line wingers, I'd put Bonino as the 2C just 'cause he has more offensive upside compared to someone like Matthias.

As for that FA signing, nobody useful is left. Vrbata is the one guy that might fit but we're going to have to give him a retarded contract that wouldn't be worth it.

This is why I feel like it was a mistake to buyout Booth. We probably won't use the cap and there's a chance he could have a decent season. If he blows, it doesn't hurt us in any way.

1-2 years at 6m for Vrbata is fine though?
From what I can see that won't handicap us in the future when people actually need to be signed.

I'd definitely overpay for short term but I can't see him signing for something like that.

He'll probably want a Cammalleri type deal, 5x5 ish.

I wonder if we'd be in on Eriksson.

His value is low right now because of an injury-plagued season and Boston has cap issues. He may be the odd man out because Smith pretty much stole his spot.


I would be ecstatic if we could acquire him for cheap. Benning/Boston connection, ofc.
