Pending UFA though. Stone, Horvat, Hall, etc. all good examples of "big fish" that didn't command another big fish back due to their contract status.

If we get the Isles mid 1st rounder this year it could be considered an A piece given the depth of this draft.

But I get the feeling there is going to be an extension anyway just like the Horvat trade.

how in the fuck could they not even get holtz, hughes,nemec or mercer etc. etc. NJD literally protected all their top assets and players, then just threw in a bunch of b prospect players that most likely won't make the team due to the A prospects and players taking up the roster.
