Expensive price for a possible rental but I dig it. Bruins have to be all in right now. Definitely exciting to add Orlov to a dcore that already has 2 elite dmen B)
Only thing I don't like is that Boston is big on lefty dmen lmao. Lindholm Gryz Forbort Reilly & now Orlov, all getting $3m+. That can be an offseason issue to solve. Reilly lmfao

IMO Boston got a fair price, maybe even a little cheap.

3 elite D-men now, gonna be tough to beat.

Kravstov to van for Lockwood and 7th

Lol I mean its a good trade for the canucks, getting a potential top 6 player and giving up 4th liner and a 7th.

Downside is can kravstov stick around to be in top 6? I personally can't see it, but I hope he does. 6'3 200 lbs rw..
Guess boeser is good as gone

Nyr making more space for Kane I guess, was hoping canucks retain 50% and get a high pick or somethin

I like this trade. Unlikely Kravstov pans out but there is that low chance he does and turns into a top 6. We gave up next to nothing to give it a shot so no harm if it does not work out.

Just a 2nd from the Jets for Niederreiter, tells you how little value wingers have right now.

Exactly. Low risk high reward. If he doesn't become anything it's not much of a loss - the 7th is 3 years down the road and Lockwood will likely top out as a 4th liner if he ever does become an NHL regular.

This is the type of trade Benning would have given up a 2nd rounder for. Rumor is Rags wanted Hoglander and Canucks didn't budge, good on them if true.

i think winger value could go up once kane and meir get moved the teams that lose out and still need one are going to circle back around to other options with a little bit more desperation

Gurianov for Dadonov @ 50%, Dallas save a little cap

Barbashev to Vegas for Dean who is like a B prospect / 2nd rounder value

Looks like Meier has finally been traded to NJD but no info yet

Wow, Poile retiring after this season.

Trotz taking over as GM.

Poile is the only GM in Preds history.

So I'd say the aggregate value is good but SJ didn't get any "A" piece, which is what you typically want at least one of when you give away a grade A asset.

Essentially 2 late 1sts (could be 1st + 2nd) + young 3rd liner with upside + 2x B prospects.
