varlamov is alredy a quality starter. miller won't do much better behind avs defense than he did in sabres

miller got 1 year left too

so essentially 1 year of miller and 8th overall for 1st overall?

did u actually think through this or just someone posted it and u thought it was good?

I only reported something that i read somewhere. The article was just a rumor anyway but it says that Roy don't think that Varlamov can be a solid starter...plus the Avs would probably try to make sure that Miller sign with them when making this trade.

you do realize they'll have better offers from every team in the league?

jones/mackinnon/drouin/barkov are all ELITE talent. miller wants out, they have no lverage at all

its a heavy underprice for 1OA

e/ varlamov will be a very good starter, he's young and they overpaid for him alrdy

While some minor contract details are still to be finalized, Alain Vigneault has an agreement to be NYR head coach.

Shanaban no more?

@cotsonika: Not surprised Shanahan is flirting with a team job. I'd be surprised if he stays in his current role long term.
@TSNBobMcKenzie: NHL VP Brendan Shanahan in CGY yesterday for dinner/conversation with CGY prez Ken King. No job offer was made but there was discussion.

I have a feeling that job is gonna see people rotate in and out for no more than 2-3 year tenures on average. Most vilified job in the nhl next to bettman lol

Read this ten minutes ago. Hopefully Jordan Eberle can persuade him to come to Edmonton. Another rookie but this of a horcoff replacement.

A lot more likely he goes to Montreal to play with Kristo.
