Any damage on her car? Hit and runs are pretty tough to prove, when I got hit in a parking lot I had to use a blow torch and suction cup to get the damage out. Guy's probably just trying to play her.

/e not damage as in "she did it," but that would make her a target for someone like that.

Her passengers side mirror is kinda bent inwards, but that's because she parks like right up against a fence on her right side, and one day while backing out she was spinning and the snow pulled her into the fence and hit the mirror, that's why I think the note is there, but I witnessed her hit the fence

That's the only damage she has, which we are getting fixed like tomorrow

But yeah that's why I think she was targeted

She's got nothing to worry about then. Best the guy can do is have his friends swear up and down that she did it which means fuck all in court.

if she didnt hit the van id just ignore it
if anything is done deal with it then if nothing is done you just go on living like normal

Yeah I told her just to ignore it, she was just afraid of some random guy waiting around for her or something oneday when she leaves for school. I'm not worried at all about the note really.

But for whatever reason if someone did actually call the cops, she might get a bit of a fine for the mirror

just say it was recent and the place u went to get it fixed had to order the mirror and it took a few days if u get in trouble for it

If it's parked they don't have any reason to fine her. Not like she's gonna fix the damn thing in her driveway, long as she tells them she's got plans to get it repaired they won't do anything.

Well I'm not too worried, my gf was upset though she thinks she is going to have the cops called on her for no reason or that the guy will be waiting for her when she gets home or something

Cops won't do anything about that, but if you're worried about some asshole confronting her, switch cars for a few days.

I thought about giving the guy a call on the number he left, but I think the best way to proceed would be to just ignore his threat of calling the cops and see if he escalates things after a while. Him calling the police doesn't concern me as neither of us ever hit a van.

She is a little creeped out that someone was maybe scouting her car and saw the mirror, followed her, or for whatever reason is targeting her. So yeah swapping cars for the week will probably happen, if buddy tries to start something I would rather deal with it than have her harassed by this guy.

So for now, just going to sit back and see what happens
