around 750 million in revenue when he took over in 93. Owners love him. He helped make them more money and brought in a salary cap to reduce players share of the take.

I can't stand the guy. 3 lockouts under his tenure and his ego prevents him from letting go of his bad decisions.

hes made the league a lot of money but i feel like almost any commissioner could have done that he lucked out with technology advancements selling streaming services bigger and bigger tv deals
outside of that hes made terrible decisions that cost the league money i get wanting to build a market in arizona if it takes off like other sports its huge but look at what its come to its an embarrassment to the league how is that going to grow a fanbase
shit like the digital "board" ads its an easy money grab that technology has made available any commissioner could sell out to that shit its not hard

im with you i cant stant the guy lol IMO hes not even that good at his job but the profit hes made from tech has saved his ass from being fired

Yeah, considering Miller was having a big season and he had 1.5 years left @ potentially around 2.75M with retention, that should have returned a haul at the deadline.

But it seems like the organization was fooled by the Bruce Bump and doubled down. Now we're floundering, as most of us expected, but for some reasons the professionals that get paid millions couldn't foresee it.

Maybe it's just aquaman that didn't see it lol

[Capfriendly] Bo Horvat contract details: $8.5M per year for 8 years, all salary. First 4 years include a No trade clause. Final 4 years include a modified NTC - 16 team no trade list

Wow, so I guess horvat agent didn't fully pwn lou. They got the money and term, at the cost of helping the old man out with 0 signing bonuses. So horvat is very buyout friendly, and doesn't cash in a lot of shit early

Cozens 7.1 x 7

Pretty cheap for someone who is probably going to be a top-2nd 2C at worst.

Now they have their top two centers locked up for pretty much 14M long-term.

Buffalo finally headed in the right direction lol

Meanwhile virtanen in 2nd tier swiss league

Jake Virtanen has been playing in the top Swiss league this season.

He has 14 goals and 25 points in 21 games.

His team has made it known he is available for trade ahead of the playoffs as he's apparently worn out his welcome with his teammates.

What a guy.

Lol yeah probably being a dick. It's a 2nd tier league too, where dahlen often dominated and promoted his team to shl. Virtanen was probably being a douchebag, like I played in the NHL, I'm so goooood u guys suck
