Mark Messier has had a formal interview to be the new coach of the New York Rangers, but he would not elaborate on any details or the timing of when the club could potentially name him or someone else as the full-time replacement for John Tortorella.

deboer is one of the most underrated coaches

He is a great coach

Just thought it would be interesting

Messier vs Stevens would be intense rivalry

Messier played on Rangers '92 - '04
Stevens played on Devils '92 - '04

Both of which were there last seasons

why would avs do it

They can ameliorate their team fast by getting a great starting goalie in Miller plus Buffalo's pick is 8th so they end up drafting a good player too!

Varlamov will be a great starting goalie. He's already a good starting goalie. Avs need to bolster their skaters more.

varlamov is alredy a quality starter. miller won't do much better behind avs defense than he did in sabres

miller got 1 year left too

so essentially 1 year of miller and 8th overall for 1st overall?
