This should be a pretty good rig.

I have the same CPU and I managed to overclock it at 4.69 ghz while stable. Water cooling keeps it at 55 degrees under load.

Also, I would advise buying a better power supply. Gold certified at least. Less power loss and less heat also means more durability.

Any suggestions on the video card?

You think 290x is the way to go?

Going to speak with my mortgage broker tonight, most likely going 4 years term fixed

Variable is looking really good right now at 2.15% but I don't like that risk sadly :(

Yah variable is so tempting but it's so easy to get sold on the fixed, at least it gives you some extra piece of mind

I don't know much about Radeon cards, never had one. I do know however that most games are better optimized for Geforce graphics than Radeon, so you might want to consider that before buying.

Starbucks may soon be giving local bars a run for their money by offering alcoholic beverages at its Canadian locations.

Cathy Suppa, a spokesperson for the world’s largest coffee chain, confirmed in a written statement Wednesday that the company is considering bringing an evening menu, which will include beer, wine and small plates, to Canada sometime this year.

Another new feature the company is looking to bring north of the border is a mobile app that will allow customers to order and pay on their smartphones.

A detailed timeline for when we can expect to see these new features in Canada was not provided.

Starbucks locations in Canada will also see a “transformation” of the coffee shop’s food with the launch of ‘La Boulage’ bakery, Suppa said.

“(The bakery) will include a new assortment of French-inspired pastries created by La Boulange – a San Francisco based bakery that Starbucks bought in 2012,” she said.

‘La Boulange’ will launch in Ontario and British Columbia on March 3 and will roll out across Canada by June.
