W for flames

on capgeek? cause they have 13f and 8d on our roster currently and it puts us 98k over the cap with extra players were not actually over the cap
plus ellis is going on LTIR
and worse team in the league? willing to put a bet on that?

I'd be willing to bet if they don't have a contract signed by trade deadline, they're both gone and flames go retool mode.

Brad did this trade so that your team could go for it before the window fully closes and goes down the rebuild path

He would've taken another package that would've hauled in ton of picks and rebuild-like package with Tkachuk, instead of the current one trying to go for the cup.

If Flames are doing well with the addition of Huberdeau and Weegar, i can't see Brad trading them away. Only the contenders will be interested in their rental services, and most of them already gave up their future and picks. So Brad will be limited to trading with only the contenders that still have some future left in em. The teams that are out of playoff contentions won't give up too much since they can try to get them through UFA without giving anything up. Unless ofc, there's a team that really really loves Huberdeau or Weegar and feel it's worth paying up to get first dibs to sign an extension before they hit UFA.

But yeh, if Brad changes his mind and just says fuck it, i dont think he's gonna stop at just trading weegar/huberdeau, it'll be more players in ur roster like Marky imo.

huberdeau has a ntc though right cause he had to waive to go to the flames so id assume thats a good sign for an extension
you guys are talking about treliving going to ship him out for picks at the deadline if he doesnt extend though what if he says no? or lists like 1-3 teams?
might not bring in the massive package you guys think if any



even if your teams winning and in a playoff position? would be pretty weird to just sell and go tank mode half way through the season kinda sabotaged your pick unless you win the lottery

not sure if he had to waive it, he had a modified ntc, CLAUSE DETAILS: Modified NTC: Submits a list of 8 teams he can not be traded to.

so unsure if the flames were on that list. if not they didnt need him to waive

It was reported that he willingly waived the ntc for the flames, so i dont think they were on the list
