He's young,  he's not a Dougie calibre player.  He'll need more time to be good as a defenseman

Speaking of Dougie, has he not been the most impressive player on our team so far this post season?
Other than that 1 play where he let the guy coming out of the box on a breakaway he's been solid as fuck.

I'd have to say either him or Soderberg.

What's scary is he's only gonna get significantly better, he's getting bigger and more physical every game.
He's gonna be around for a LONG time.

Yea Dougie has shown huge upside in the playoffs and being paired with Chara is huge for him

The last few years our third line has always seemed to get the job done at crucial times when the first line isn't scoring or putting up the stats so it's nice to see that continue

As for the #1 line, Krejci seems to have bad puck luck as of late, or the other teams have scouted him well and coached their defense to properly control him, I feel he'll break out and have a good playoff at some point as long as they continue past the habs

You talking about Krejci?

I'd love nothing more for the one guy to light it up tonight and shut the habs up is Krejci.

I'm not too worried about the 1st line. Krejci and Lucic may not be getting points, but they are really making Montreal work.
Montreal is lining them up vs the 3rd and 4th line, correct? That makes you really have to work hard since most are grinders.
That's allowing our 3rd and 4th line to do work.

It was a fun season boys, extremely let down with this team though.
We had way too much talent to be out this early though, definitely a disappointing season.

Lucic just had an interview and was noticeably fired up which is good to see.

The only good thing is the fact that we have such a young talented team, we'll be right back here next year.
