It was a nice save on his part. The customer service chick was egregiously bad. You could tell just by reading the transcript that she was either dicking around on her computer or talking to someone while I was sitting there twiddling my thumbs. I told him I was almost insulted and that I'd had playstation systems since PS1.

Helped that I was nothing but cordial in the chat and to the manager. He was probably just grateful for that since I'm sure most of the time when someone asks for a manager they're fuming :lol:

Long story. Basically my PS3 activated itself 4 times then deactivated itself. I couldn't play any games with it inactive but you can only have 2 at a time, I still "had" 3.

Go on chat support, the chick is clearly doing something else while chatting. She takes an average of a minute to respond to me. When she said she was accessing my account, it took so long that I had to ask her if she was still there. To which she replied "We can't help you, you can only deactivate once every 6 months. Please try then." Then posted a survey link and ended chat.

So I called support on the phone, immediately demanded a manager, told him what had happened. He got my PS3 activated, then asked me to send him the text transcript of the chat. I did, he apologized and told me to tell him two games of any price on the PS store that I wanted, and he gave me codes.

I figure I will just buy something 300-500 to just only use for school. My desktop is a beast, so I will be fine there.

Yeah that's why I'm formatting my laptop. Too many programs and games on it made it slow as hell.

Made a backup of all my school stuff/music/photos and it's now gonna be used strictly for school and music.

Not that I have a beast gaming pc it seems like a logical choice.
