Teams can start talking to RFAs about an offer sheet on June 26. The offer sheet period starts July 1 and ends July 5


Some info on the O'Reilly situation from his agent:

- Colorado didn't want to qualify him at 6.5M so they're taking him to arbitration where the arbitrator can cut his salary by a maximum of 15% (which would be 5.525M).

- O'Reilly can choose whether he wants a 1-year or 2-year arbitration deal. He will be a UFA in 2 years.

- O'Reilly wants to stay in Colorado and would prefer a long-term deal, but the Avalance don't seem to be interested in that.

- O'Reilly understands it's a part of the business but is a little upset over how his situation has been handled by the team over the past couple seasons.

I want ROR or Kesler, too bad neither will happen.
Hopefully nonis shakes things up though, we need it.
