How many things have you ordered off of Newegg and how much have you spent there? I've gotten Amazon to give me a better model. It's a customer retention tool, tell them unless they wanna give you something as good or better you're gonna take the refund and buy something elsewhere.

Try it anyway. They're required by law to give you a refund at minimum, it doesn't hurt to ask for more and have them give you what you wanted in the first place instead.

yah for sure, i'm not gonna go down without a fight

because even if i do get a refund, i still have to drive over to purolator myself and ship it back

so at the end of the day all i get is time wasted

Guilt em with that and by saying you heard great things about their reputation and this is disappointing :lol:

Two things a company will bend over backwards for are customer retention and reputation. Sony gave me two free games on PSN because I had one of the shittiest customer service experiences of my life and I told them about it.

Newegg is (or at least was) great with customer service. They will at least mail you a return box and shipping label for you to mail it back and get your refund

Far Cry 4 and Little Big Planet 3. This was like 2 weeks ago lol.

/e I'm also pretty sure I got the customer service chick fired. Can't be sure but I basically said she was lazy, uninterested in helping, took forever to respond to the point I had to ask if she was still there, and she still didn't fix my problem.
