Also, we just drafted Kaspar to presumably be our 2c of the future. Copp on a 5 year deal can slide to 3c for the remaining 2-3 years on his deal after kaspar gets into the lineup.
Trochek obviously wanted a longer term deal and likely wouldnt want to playing 3c half way through the contract.
