Airing down will not change how attrocious those types of tires are in actual winter road conditions. I've driven off road trucks in Canadian winter since I've had my license and mud tires are always the worst in the winter, by a lot. My traction t/a tires get better grip.

i have never had issues with them, and correct i am not subjected to those conditions except for when i want to be.

What's worse is the guys who think they know what they're doing and end up in the ditch.
