PC will just never be happy with anyone or anything. I normally don't feed the trolls but if he really isn't constantly trolling the forum then he must have am awful life with his outlook on shit. Biggest negative nancy I have ever seen and I had my negative depression time when I almost killed myself and was negative towards everything but god damn I haven't heard PC say anything nice...or even neutral.

I don't know shit about Bell or anything in Canada or whatever but at least they are doing something to help no matter how it's done. What are you doing to help? Nothing except bitching and complaining about who is helping.

So instead you would rather nothing be done? Have you ever been afraid to walk out of your own house for two years? Ever been so scared that you would rather sit in your own room in silence than go to a fucking movie with a friend? Ever been so close to the edge that one more push is all it will take? I am not a bell customer, but I sure as hell appreciate everything they're doing today because I've been there.

whats interesting is that you left out the fact that there's many who dont have any friends at all, that spirals into this - a more important factor than the fact people are afraid of walking out of the house

anyway

i have been dethroned as #1 pessimist?

You don't know what I do to help because I don't flash it to everyone expecting recognition like bell does. my family probably donates and raises more funds than you'll ever make in your life time. there's a way to do things when they are really genuine and from the heart.

like I said. I totally understand what goes on behind the curtain with mental illness and the idea of donating is great. But their main focus is not donating. It's getting the best bang for their buck in advertising their company.

It's too bad because as time goes by the ratio of sheep opposed to Shepards only goes down, and the corporations get more and more powerful.

Welcome to real life. No big charity event is about the charity itself. Nonprofit workers are paid a salary, it's their job to do that stuff and a lot have to throw charity runs for things they don't care about. I'll take a huge, self-serving event that also raises a shit ton of money and awareness over a passionate person (who is fulfilling his or her passion and therefore benefitting themselves) who gets a couple hundred bucks from their neighbors and friends who are already aware of the issues.

It's a wonderful notion to think significant things can be done through selfless acts but that's just living in a fairytale land of rainbow farts and trees made of candy.

Last year it was Chojo, this year PC.

It helps the people who need it, who cares if it helps Bell at the same time. Jesus.
