Less than 6.5m for a 27 year old 60+ point player and proving to be a major post season contributor? Easily a steal and locking him up for basically his entire prime was the cherry on top. This is a great signing for the avs, the only concern i would have if i were them is whether or not he's a flash in the pan, but the team is so good i just dont see that happening.

He did it once (52pts) and colorado had hell of a season and he knew he was UFA.

Sorry, i got his point total and burakovskys mixed up, still a good deal for the avs. Especially with the expectation they will be in the mix for a cup for the majority, if not all of the contract.
