The New York Islanders have acquired defenseman Alexander Romanov from the Montreal Canadiens, along with Montreal's fourth-round pick (98th overall) in the 2022 NHL Draft, in exchange for the Islanders' first round pick (13th overall) in 2022.

some trades

The St. Louis Blues traded goaltender Ville Husso to the Detroit Red Wings for the 73rd pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the team announced Friday. Husso, a pending unrestricted free agent, signed a three-year contract with Detroit following the trade, the Red Wings announced.
Wings sign him to a 3 X 4.75m

The Washington Capitals traded goaltender Vitek Vanecek and the 46th pick in the 2022 NHL Draft to the New Jersey Devils for the No. 37 and No. 70 selections, the Devils announced on Friday.

The Carolina Hurricanes are trading defenseman Tony DeAngelo to the Philadelphia Flyers for second-, third-, and fourth-round picks, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun. Flyers sign him to a 2 X 5m contract

deangelo o.O hope this guys smartened up cause if hes still a racist having him in philly is going to be a a pretty big mistake
but i see why he got him we need a guy like that to run our powerplay

guess this means ellis wont be ready for the start of the season

im not from philly but isnt there a bunch of black people there? the fans are already hating on fletcher and the franchise then they go and get the one guy they should avoid
it makes sense hockey wise but fan wise this is gong to be bad

not to mention torts as the coach.. i just... dont see this working out lol

Canes are hoping to contend so it's very likely that's why they traded him in the first place. He has a great season. Honestly I don't know how he's still in the league

If Husso keeps developing it's a big win, at worst a decent bridge to Cossa.

Ned only has one year left.
